Before you start
- Create the main league and season entries first.
- Decide whether the cup is individual or team-based through the selected season.
- Choose knockout, round robin, groups then knockout or seeded playoffs.
Step by step
Open the league and choose Cups and tournaments.
Enter the competition name and select the season.
Choose the format.
For group formats, set the number of groups and qualifiers per group.
Choose the first playing date.
Tick Randomise the draw, or leave it unticked to use seed numbers.
Add a description and press Create competition.
Open the competition and select the entries.
Add seed numbers where required and save the selected entries.
Press Generate and publish draw.
Use the linked match or team match card to record results.
For group-to-knockout events, build the knockout stage after every group match is complete.
Common problems
The draw cannot be generated: at least two valid entries are required.
A knockout match finished level: use Tie-break needed and choose the advancing entry.
A group knockout will not advance: complete and confirm every group match first.
