Before you start
- Add or approve the player as an active league member with the Player role.
- Open the active flexible season.
- Do not delete the existing fixture plan.
Step by step
Open Manage league or the active season and add the player to the season.
The player is added to the table with zero games, zero points and no invented results.
Press Refresh players & matches.
Review the preview showing new participants, current byes, protected fixtures and future matchups that can be changed.
If the open round has one bye and a new player makes the field even, Dartscores prioritises a match between the bye player and the new player.
Completed rounds are never reopened. A player joining after a round is complete begins in the next safe open or untouched round.
Untouched future fixtures are rebuilt only where required so every necessary opponent pairing is included.
Fixtures with results, submissions, agreed times, time proposals, live scoring, notifications or event links are protected and are not moved.
Confirm the refresh and check the expanded round plan.
Common problems
The player is not available to add: check active membership and the Player role.
The current bye was not paired: the round may already be completed or the fixture may be protected by arrangements or activity.
A future opponent changed: only pristine, unused future fixtures can be rebuilt during the refresh.
The player joined but still has no match: reopen the refresh preview and check the next safe round.
